5K Walk For Love 2025
FAITH IN ACTION!
TIME TO GET EXCITED!!!! Love INC of the Lakes Region would like to welcome you to our 5K Walk For Love 2025!
During the months of August and September, Love INC of the Lakes Region is having our Walk For Love 2025 Fundraiser. You can walk, run, bike or hike anywhere/anytime. You can either do this solo, as a family or as a team. We have been extremely busy walking beside our neighbors in need by assisting the homeless, widows, handicapped, people suffering with emotional struggles, mental illness and addiction. Your donation will help us to expand our efforts in these areas and our personal care, furniture, transportation and transformational ministries.
Please participate as much as you are able! Get as many sponsors as possible to give generously to help us help others within our local communities.

Faith & Finance Mentor
Are you passionate about making a difference in your
community? We invite caring individuals to volunteer as Mentors in our Faith & Finances Program, supporting low-income adults on their financial journey. As a Mentor, you’ll encourage and walk alongside a participant, offering guidance, friendship, and spiritual support. If you’re eager to empower others through faith and practical skills, join us for this six-week experience—an opportunity to help transform lives, including your own.
Mentorship Requirements:
- A follower of Jesus Christ
- Attend and participate in the Faith & Finances Program.
- Assist participants with setting savings goals, reviewing budgets, discussing purchases, etc.
- Follow up with participants during and after the Faith & Finances Program, providing encouragement and accountability in reaching their goals
- Willing to share your own life experiences, to listen and pray with others
- Passionate about seeing people grow spiritually and economically
- Be an encourager, to cheer on your participant
- Able to spend time walking patiently with someone through ups and downs.

Spreading Christ-like Love in the Lakes Region
The Christmas Blessings Project, organized by Love INC in the Lakes Region, is a cherished tradition that embodies the spirit of giving and Christ-like love during the holiday season. Through a guided shopping experience, families in need are able to choose clothing, toys, and essential items for their children, with the support of compassionate volunteers and local churches. This initiative honors the dignity of each family while easing financial burdens. Beyond material gifts, the project’s deeper mission is to share the hope, grace, and peace of Jesus, inviting every participant to experience the true meaning of Christmas. As it grows, the project continues to foster community, empower children, and encourage all involved to know their value and the transformative power of love of Jesus.

At Love in the name of Christ , our vision is to create a community where mental health is a top priority and individuals can access the resources they need to achieve optimal well-being.
Redemptive Compassion Volunteer Class
Biblical perspective on how the church and Christians are called to love our neighbors in ways that actually help meet spiritual, emotional, relational, and material needs. We will look to better understand the “heart” and “hands” of helping people. This course is a requirement for anyone interested in leading or teaching in our Transformational Ministry.
