Faith & Finance Mentor
Are you passionate about making a difference in your
community? We invite caring individuals to volunteer as Mentors in our Faith & Finances Program, supporting low-income adults on their financial journey. As a Mentor, you’ll encourage and walk alongside a participant, offering guidance, friendship, and spiritual support. If you’re eager to empower others through faith and practical skills, join us for this six-week experience—an opportunity to help transform lives, including your own.
Mentorship Requirements:
- A follower of Jesus Christ
- Attend and participate in the Faith & Finances Program.
- Assist participants with setting savings goals, reviewing budgets, discussing purchases, etc.
- Follow up with participants during and after the Faith & Finances Program, providing encouragement and accountability in reaching their goals
- Willing to share your own life experiences, to listen and pray with others
- Passionate about seeing people grow spiritually and economically
- Be an encourager, to cheer on your participant
- Able to spend time walking patiently with someone through ups and downs.
