Faith & Finance Mentor
Are you passionate about making a difference in your
community? We invite caring individuals to volunteer as Mentors in our Faith & Finances Program, supporting low-income adults on their financial journey. As a Mentor, you’ll encourage and walk alongside a participant, offering guidance, friendship, and spiritual support. If you’re eager to empower others through faith and practical skills, join us for this six-week experience—an opportunity to help transform lives, including your own.
Mentorship Requirements:
- A follower of Jesus Christ
- Attend and participate in the Faith & Finances Program.
- Assist participants with setting savings goals, reviewing budgets, discussing purchases, etc.
- Follow up with participants during and after the Faith & Finances Program, providing encouragement and accountability in reaching their goals
- Willing to share your own life experiences, to listen and pray with others
- Passionate about seeing people grow spiritually and economically
- Be an encourager, to cheer on your participant
- Able to spend time walking patiently with someone through ups and downs.

At Love in the name of Christ , our vision is to create a community where mental health is a top priority and individuals can access the resources they need to achieve optimal well-being.
Redemptive Compassion Volunteer Class
Biblical perspective on how the church and Christians are called to love our neighbors in ways that actually help meet spiritual, emotional, relational, and material needs. We will look to better understand the “heart” and “hands” of helping people. This course is a requirement for anyone interested in leading or teaching in our Transformational Ministry.

This series empowers adults with basic money management skills, biblical stewardship and supportive relationships through our classroom mentors. The program is offered throughout the year, email us to find out class Schedule.
